The Fortnite servers are back online as Epic
Games has finished updating the latest update to the famous Battle Royale game. Epic confirmed that Fortnite's downtime ended at around 8:50 a.m. today, after the game was offline for about an hour.

This update is different from one of the normal numbered updates we see, which means it was probably a small patch fix to fix some of the residual issues from version 13.20 Now that the update update is deployed, players should have no problem updating their game by downloading the new patch and reconnecting.

This update could also have added a few more assets to the game due to the Summer Splash event. Summer Splash is adding new LTMs and summer themed cosmetics will appear in the store by the end of August.

The v13.20 update also fixed a multitude of bugs, according to the official Trello forum of known issues. Among other things, deployable workbenches were added to the game due to the difficulty of finding them in dotted lines on the map.
